Sometimes, when you feel down...what you really need is a
laugh. And let's face it, everyone could use a good laugh now and
again. I was hunting for a good laugh, and just by accident, I found
one. Now I'm letting you have it.
Being a big fan of Mighty Big TV (now Television Without Pity), I love reading
recaps where the writers repeatedly bash Dawson from Dawson's Creek, because, let's face it, the writershave created a horrible, horrible character that is selfish, self-centered,
conceited, condescending, and everything that is bad. And yet, since the
show is named after him, they feel that they have to make him appealing.
So instead of just making him an appealing character, they instead choose to keep
writing him as a bastard, but then they make the other characters in the show
constantly make references to how great he is. For example, the writers at
Dawson's Creek make his parents and friends repeatedly say things that are
completely contradictory to his actions; they tell Dawson that he is
"caring" and "sensitive" when he is really a big fat JERK
who goes around making ultimatums with phrases like "if you choose him, I'm
not going to be around to pick up the pieces when it all falls
apart." You don't say stuff like that when you love someone; you say
it when you think someone's not worth the crap on the bottom of your shoe. Not romantic at all.
Anyway, while reading the MBTV forum, I happened
upon a picture I just had to share with the rest of the world. I don't
know who took this or where it's from...I just know that it is the funniest
thing I have seen in a while. I just sat in my office and laughed and
giggled until I thought that my stomach couldn't handle anymore. Now, it
is confirmed, all of my co-workers think I'm a total nutcase. I feel it
was worth my reputation. So here it is, without further ado: (scroll down)
