Inching Forward
I'm officially a year older. I'm not sure I like being older, but I have enjoyed the good times my friends have been treating me to.

On Friday, Dubya and Jenny from the Block took me to Mirabelle's for dinner (good) and then the Viceroy for drinks. At the Viceroy, I watched creepy old people hit on young women. And got sat on by a really drunk guy. Don't get me wrong, though...it was fun.

On Sunday, P$ took me to The Griddle Cafe (very good, very large portions) and a Dodger game. They were commemorating the 1955 World Championship team, so a lot of great players were there, including some names I actually recognize (which is saying a lot), such as Koufax and Lasorda. The Dodgers won, which is always good. But it was really hot, and I got sunburned pretty badly.

On Monday, Dubya and Jenny from the Block treated me to cake. We did the whole candle bit and everything.

One year older. Wow, I'm old.

I just like to bang on my drum all day
Judging from the noise coming through my bedroom window, my new neighbors have purchased a drum set. This is gonna be fun.

Somebody, please help me
My sister and I are searching for answers. For anyone who has seen "Fruit of the Loom" commercials, who is the fourth "Fruit Guy"? You've got a red apple, a bunch of green grapes, a bunch of red grapes, and...a tattered yellowish thing. What is it? Does anyone know? Help!

My Ass Has Its Own Gravitational Pull
I don't know why I buy into all this crap about being "fit." All this exercise has done nothing for me. Granted, maybe I shouldn't have consumed an entire ice cream cake in a week, but still! You'd think that running several times a week and walking every day would have some effect, but no, my clothes just keep getting tighter and tighter. I don't think the "I just washed it, so it probably shrunk a little in the wash" excuse will work anymore. Darn it.

Because I am an ass (or rather, because I've become all ass), I decided to go running today. And then I tripped in one of those places where the driveway meets the pavement. And then I fell. Usually when I fall (yes, this has happened to my graceful self several times), I end up scraping my hands (trying to cushion the fall) and my knees. However, my ass has grown to such epic proportions that through sheer gravitational force, I fell mostly on my hip, avoiding the usual bloody knees. Although I still managed to scrape up both hands. Because I'm thorough like that (take note, potential employers).

It's rather difficult typing with Neosporin slathered over one's palms. I should go.
