The Horror... After a beautiful day outside barbecuing, I went back home and turned on the TV. I went into the kitchen to put away our barbecue leftovers and returned to the living room. To my surprise, the television screen was completely black except for one brightly colored horizontal line. "It's an old TV," I thought, "Maybe I need to do the usual." I whacked the top of the set. Nothin'. I turned it off, gave it a couple of minutes, and turned it back on. Lo and behold, the picture was back!
Thirty seconds later, it was gone, and the dreaded horizontal line was back.
A day later, I had to face the cold, harsh reality that my TV was gone. And it wasn't coming back.
I'm so depressed.
